National Work Zone Safety Clearinghouse

The National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse, was established to collect roadway safety-related information and serve as a central "library" on the subject. The Clearinghouse is available to the general public through its web site http://wzsafety.tamu.edu.

The information currently available includes:

• Successful strategies for public education and outreach programs

• State specifications related to work zone safety

• Training courses, seminars and products

• Research reports on new technologies

• Crash data

• State work zone contacts

• Best practices for improving work zone safety

• Current laws and regulations
