It's the responsibility of the "UPRM AMS Student Chapter" to write a detailed report annualy about all the activities made and goals fulfilled during the year, and this report is sent to the "American Meteorological Society".

One the report is submitted, the chapter automatically competes for the prize of "Chapter of the Year" in a nation-wide competition against other AMS student chapters.
