$20 Undergraduate Student Challenge
Here's the challenge:
You figure out why the picture or drawing below is funny and who it would be funny for, and if you are the first of Ray's undergraduate students to explain it, you win $20 (Yes, U.S. currency!) and get your name on the winner's list. No prize for wrong answers, or for being second, third, etc. First one with the right answer wins.
CONGRATULATIONS to WILALBERTO RODRIGUEZ GONZALEZ
most recent WINNER (Fall 2006) who successfully explained the "and I was doing so good" cartoon.!
Can you be the next winner???
Remember, you can't win if you don't play............................
Congratulations to A. Joel Colon Figueroa,Spring 2006 winner who successfully explained the "we didn't have a prayer" cartoon.
Congratulations to Mauricio Pagan Zapata, first winner of the student challenge!!! who successfully explained the Dixie Chicks comic,
and also THANKS! for deciding not to collect his $20 so the professor can offer the challenge again.
First runner up, Elias Nuñez Morales. (Good answer, but about 15 minutes too late!)
Moraleja: The early bird (with the right answer) gets the worm.
NEW CHALLENGE!
You can submit your answers by email. That also helps me determine the time if two or more people have "winning" answers. The challenge is valid until it is successfully answered or until it is changed or removed. Good luck!
My sincere thanks to artist and family friend Charlie Daniel for his generous and gracious permission to use this and other cartoons for educational and non-commercial purposes on this website.
