Languages:
The journal accepts papers written in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese. In all cases, the title and the abstract should also be included in English.

Scope:
The journal publishes original contributions in two main areas of Engineering Education: Teaching Strategies and Academic Management, thus addressing problems of teachers as well as students, and of planners as well as administrators. Topics include (but are not limited to): Accreditation, Curriculum Design and Innovations, Diversity: Women and Minorities in Engineering and Technology, Distance and Blended Learning, Dual and Joint Degrees, Educational Outreach, International Relations, New Technologies for Teaching, Research Experience for Undergraduates, Technology and Society, University-Industry-Government Relations. It serves as a vehicle for the rapid communication of research results and experiences, and provides a forum for ongoing discussions between experts. It will also publish overview articles, comparative studies and analyses of particular problems and issues.

Peer-review process of contributed papers:
The journal will serve as an archival publication. Each manuscript submitted to the journal will be evaluated by two anonymous reviewers, who will consider relevance to the scope of the journal and originality of the contribution. It is expected that papers should address problems of engineering education that are relevant to Latin America and the Caribbean; however, authors need not work in the region nor belong to LACCEI institutions. Problems that are specific of other regions of the world are generally better suited for publication in other international journals.

Periodicity:
Two issues per year, published in May and December.
