 Mission

Provide formal education of the highest quality in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology for the students of the Mayagüez Campus. The program looks to produce students with a very solid foundation in Meteorology which will be able to provide reliable and valuable climatological information to the society.

 Vision

The Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology program strives to provide the highest level of education through their constant reviews and expansion of their study programs, investigations and internships, to produce professionals in the atmospheric sciences field.  These will be well trained and enabled to respond to the social necessities.
